NEUROTHEMIS FULVIA

Neurothemis fulvia, the Fulvous Forest Skimmer dragonfly, is a medium-sized dragonfly distributed across South and Southeast Asia, with populations also documented in southern China. It occurs in wet forest landscapes and around marshes, ponds, reservoirs and other freshwater habitats. Mature males are especially distinctive for the extensive warm fulvous-red to brown pigmentation across their wings. This strongly coloured wing surface gives the species a visual presence very different from the mostly transparent wings seen in many other dragonflies.

Presented as a refined naturalist plate, this art print captures its rich reddish-brown wings, contrasting body, and delicate veining in precise detail. A unique piece for nature enthusiasts, collectors of scientific illustration, and interiors seeking elegance with meaning.
