MORGANITE

MORGANITE

Morganite is the pink to peach gem variety of beryl, colored primarily by manganese. It shares the same basic mineral species as emerald and aquamarine and therefore has similar physical properties, including Mohs hardness of about 7.5–8. Morganite typically forms in granitic pegmatites, geological environments capable of producing large crystals enriched in uncommon elements. Heat treatment is sometimes used to reduce yellow or orange components and emphasize a more stable pink coloration. Significant sources include Brazil, Madagascar, Mozambique and Afghanistan.

Presented as a refined naturalist plate, this art print showcases its soft peach-pink tones, symbolic tenderness, and timeless grace. A unique piece for gemstone lovers, collectors of scientific illustration, and interiors seeking elegance with meaning.
